Larsen and Toubro hires more than 3000 engineering trainees
Henning Holck-Larsen and Sren Kristian Toubro, two Danish engineers who created the Larsen & Toubro firm in 1946 in Bombay, began operations in 1948. (L&T). The company opened operations in Calcutta (Kolkata), Madras (Chennai), and New Delhi following India's independence in 1947.
And also L&T had a contract with the Indian Space Research Organization in the 1970s (ISRO). Vikram Sarabhai, the company's then-chairman, selected L&T as a manufacturing partner.
The subsidiaries of L&T include L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited, Minerals & Metals Strategic Business Group, Construction, Buildings & Factories, Civil Infrastructure, Transportation Infrastructure, EPC Projects, Power Transmission and Distribution, Renewable Energy Solar power, Hydrocarbon Engineering, Machinery and Industrial Products, and some others.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a multinational engineering and construction firm, announced on Monday that it had employed more than 3,000 new engineering trainees for the current fiscal year. In comparison to 1,067 trainees during the previous fiscal year, the onboarding of almost 3,000 graduate and postgraduate engineering trainees represents a more than three-fold increase.
It is important to note that 30% of the current class of new engineers are female, which is excellent given that 75% of the new engineers are hired from the mechanical, civil, and electrical streams where there are less female candidates.
The business is currently experiencing significant growth and has a record amount of orders.

Regarding L&T Construction's GET recruitment, hiring procedure, which entails an aptitude and English test. Then, a technical round and an HR interview are held for the students who made the short list. Following that, they announced the results of the chosen candidates within a week. The chosen individuals must then go through a medical examination; no one will be turned away unless they have a serious illness. Once you have passed their medical examinations, they will email you an offer letter.
